How to Deal with Spills

If you have a spill:

• Deal with the spill A.S.A.P.
• Blot the spot with a wet towel, and work it out gently until the spot is removed.

Certain liquids such as fruit juices with red pigment/dye can cause a permanent stain in a matter of hours. Be sure to take care of these spills immediately.

How to Clean Your Rims

• Doing one rim at a time, wet the rim, then spray it with a mild diluted cleaner.
• Wash the rim with a soft cloth, such as a microfiber towel.
• Once clean, rinse the rim and then hand-dry.

Preventing Water Spots

• When using a garden hose to wash your car, keep in mind that you are using untreated water which contains hard mineral deposits. These deposits can create stains on your vehicle if left to air dry. Prevent this by thoroughly drying your car with a shammy once finished washing the vehicle.
• Be sure to park your vehicle away from sprinkler systems. Sprinkler water left to dry on your vehicle can cause water stains which will need to be polished out.
• A professional paint sealant will help to protect your vehicles paint from water damage.

Insect & Tar Removal

Dried insects and tar can easily be dissolved from the paint surface with an inexpensive bug and tar solution available at any auto-parts store.

To remove insects/tar:

• Shake the product
• Blot the product on the paint with a soft towel
• Let the product sit for a few moments or according to the manufacturers instructions
• Gently wipe off the spot
